TII SCHEUERLE looks back on a successful Transport 2023 in Herning, Denmark. The SCHEUERLE K25 L and EuroCompact U7 transport solutions as well as the bestseller SCHEUERLE SPMT attracted numerous Scandinavian customers to the stand of the industry specialist for heavy-duty transport from the TII Group.
The wind energy sector is currently booming in Scandinavia. This was also amply demonstrated by the enormous number of visitors to the TII Group stand at the Transport trade fair in Herning. With the new SCHEUERLE K25 L, SCHEUERLE SPMT and SCHEUERLE EuroCompact U7, TII Group subsidiary TII SCHEUERLE, the industry expert for heavy-duty transport on and off road, showcased three vehicles designed for transporting wind turbine modules and handling many other tasks in industry and the construction business. These exerted a particular attraction on its Scandinavian customers and gave them a good impression of what the trade fair motto "TII: Move the World" actually means to them and how the TII Group subsidiaries enable all customers to indeed move the world and master even the most complex transport assignments.
SCHEUERLE K25 L: specialist for transporting shipments with high load centres of gravity
The platform vehicles of the K25 L series in particular are specialists for all loads that generate high point loads and, at the same time, have a high load centre of gravity such as tower segments and nacelles. Here, the K25 L stands out through its high level of stability and structural safety that go far beyond the standard. The L (“Low”) suffix refers to the particularly low platform height of 875 millimetres (loaded) together with the large 285/70 R 19.5 tyres. The track width of 2,100 millimetres with an external width of 3,000 millimetres, which is unique in the segment, also contributes to the overall stability.
In demand worldwide for 40 years: best-seller SCHEUERLE SPMT celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2023
SPMT modules are used wherever the heaviest loads have to be transported as they offer a theoretically unlimited payload thanks to the wide range of coupling options that are available. This makes SCHEUERLE SPMTs the first choice for transport tasks particularly heavy components for offshore wind turbines but also for the heaviest transformers, generators and construction machinery. With meanwhile 27,000 axle lines on the market, TII SCHEUERLE is the market leader in the segment. Exactly 40 years ago, TII SCHEUERLE invented the SPMT. The industry expert also celebrated this anniversary together with its customers at the Transport fair. Almost 60 invited guests from ten different countries flew in to see at first hand the transport solutions from TII SCHEUERLE and to take part in the celebration.
EuroCompact U7: redefining flexibility in the compact vehicle segment
The new, semi-modular EuroCompact U7 is a particularly stable version for use in the 60 to 135 t payload class which is ideal for transporting construction machinery and other heavy equipment as well as power generation components such as transformers and wind power components, e.g. hubs and nacelles. Where others are already using modular vehicle concepts, TII SCHEUERLE is able to offer a significantly more compact, more manoeuvrable and more economical vehicle with the EuroCompact U7 which also offers advantages regarding approval procedures and empty runs. The EuroCompact U7 is available with axle configurations of 0+4 to 4+6 as well as the add-on SmartAxle bogie and three different goosenecks. As a result, it can be flexibly adapted to suit the respective payload requirement. In addition, the EuroCompact U7 benefits from particularly easy operability along with the Clever Coupling System which makes it much easier to disconnect and connect the gooseneck and dolly.
Transport entrepreneur and YouTuber Max Hunt together with the EuroCompact FL02
