New apprentices start at Kamag
On Monday, 3rd September 2018, a total of four young people began their vocational training at Kamag in Ulm. The manufacturer of heavy-duty and special transporters – a subsidiary of the TII Group – is once again training young individuals this year for future job prospects in the industrial-technical and commercial fields.
The subject of vocational training has a high priority at Kamag. Taking all apprenticeship year levels currently in progress, around 16 young people are at present completing their training at the Donautal industrial park facility. Apprentices have a range of training options: industrial clerk, construction mechanic and mechatronic technician. Head of training for commercial apprentices, Melanie Huchler, is convinced: “Through us, young people receive a high quality training programme which is very practical related. The work environment is also ideal: we have an informal working atmosphere with open lines of communication." In addition to providing professionally-based training, Kamag also offers further education on subjects such as learning competence or motivation.
Fascination with transportation vehicles
"We are proud of our products, which are in use around the world," explains Oktay Yenigün, Training Manager for the industrial-technical apprentices. "This enthusiasm is also felt by young people which then motivates them to be a part of it."
Selection procedures for the start of the apprenticeship programmes starting in autumn 2019 are already taking place. Applications are still welcome. Further information is available at:
