  • Joint responsibility for the defined product portfolio and its optimization from the initial idea to the end of the operational phase
  • Development of a strategy/roadmap based on the agreed corporate strategy (innovations, growth options and strategic planning)
  • Initiating and controlling measures for portfolio maintenance (product improvements, further development and modifications, provison of product guidance as well as optimisation approaches (e.g. assembly groups) in the context of design and production)
  • Creation of Business Cases
  • Compiling and optimising specification sheets
  • Creation and regular revision of business plans for respective product structures (analyses of market /customers /competitors, planning of sales/results/ market shares)
  • Product-market introduction concepts as well as their implementation and control
  • Cross-group potential assessment / prioritization of incoming projects and development projects (series vs. individual production)
  • Intensive cooperation with all relevant departments and providing support to sales (training), development, project planning, production and purchasing

    Your profile:

    • Degree in Engineering or Business Studies, or successfully completed technical studies
    • Several years of professional experience in the area of product and project management as well as knowledge of manufacturing
    • Visionary, creative, flexibility combined with a structured style of working
    • Possess good presentation and communication skills
    • High degree of personal initiative, commitment and assertiveness
    • Fluent German and English skills (spoken and written), knowledge of French an advantage
    • IT-affinity
    • Entrepreneurial thinking and actions are pre-requisites
    • Willingness to travel abroad
